1 Thessalonians 5:14
“Be patient with everyone.”
Definitions:
- Greek patience= macrothumia,
- macro means ‘long.’
- Thumia….’ It’s a long heat. It takes you a long time to get hot.
Question
- When you can’t take any more how do you react?
Think
- The fruit of the spirit is evident in our actions, but it’s really impossible to ignore in our reactions.
Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.
James 5:7
“Don’t focus on resolving the conflict, you focus on accepting. You don’t focus on trying to change the person you…you focus on accepting the person”
