1. Let Go of being in charge

• “Let go, and know that I am God.  I rule the nations.  I rule the earth.”  Psalm 46:10 
• “If a person’s thinking is controlled by his sinful self, then there is death.  But if his thinking is controlled by the Spirit, then there is life and peace.”  Rom. 8:6

2. Finding contentment, no matter where you are

• I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. ¹² I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. ¹³ I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Phil. 4:11-13
• “Surrender yourself to the Lord, and wait patiently for him.”  Ps. 37:7

3. Laying my plans down every day

• “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.  And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.”  1 John 3:16 (NIV)
• “…Give yourselves to God…  surrender your whole being to him to be used for righteous purposes.”  Rom. 6:13
• “God will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.”  Matt. 6:33

4. Giving God tomorrow-Today

• “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”  Prov. 3:5-6 
• Jesus: “…You must give up everything you have to be my follower.”  Luke 14:33
